个人简介

I am an associate professor and principal investigator at the Big Data Engineering Center, Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. Previously, I was an assistant professor at Nankai University. I received my Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Toronto in 2012, and I was fortunate to have Prof. Nancy Reid as my advisor for my thesis. After graduation I became a postdoctoral fellow at Dalhousie University (working with Prof. Chris Field). Before going to UofT, I got my bachelor's degree from Nankai University and master's degree from University of Ottawa under the supervision of Prof. David Sankoff.

At PediatriXlab (www.pediatrixlab.com), our primary focus is to address data-driven challenges in pediatrics through the integration of data analytics and artificial intelligence. The "X" in our name symbolizes both an interdisciplinary approach and a quest into the unknown.
